Law Enforcement Seeks GPS in Peterson Case
Posted by admin on December 6th, 2007 filed in digital forensicsThis isn’t news to me, but GPS devices should always be sought out in cases where location or mobile activity are of interest. In the article, LE is subpoenaing Onstar for their records of the vehicle in question. Onstar spokesmen Jim Kobus said the service does not track subscribers’ vehicles. I’m curious to see if LE actually pulls any data from the car itself.
Its noteworthy to mention that Paraben has made many advances in GPS forensic analysis.
